ToolMatrix ("we", "our") operates free online developer tools at toolmatrix.github.io. This policy explains what data is processed when you use our site. We are committed to privacy by design: all tools run entirely in your browser — the text, files, and data you use in our tools never leave your device.

2. Data processed by our tools

Our converters, generators, and hashers (Cron, YAML/JSON, Timestamp, Base64, SHA256) process your input locally in your browser. No input data is transmitted to our servers or any third party. File hashing uses your browser's native Web Crypto API — files are not uploaded.

3. IP address and third-party services

When you visit our site, standard web server logs (including IP address) may be processed by our hosting provider (GitHub Pages) for security purposes, per GitHub's Privacy Statement.

Some pages use ipwho.is or ip-api.com to detect your region (e.g., to show a cookie consent notice where required by law, such as the EU GDPR). When this happens, your IP address is sent to those third-party services solely for geo-detection. We do not store or use your IP for any other purpose.

4. Cookies and advertising

We display advertising served by Google AdSense. AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits and to measure ad performance. You can learn more in Google's Advertising Policies and manage your preferences at Google Ads Settings.

We store a small local setting (tm_cookie_ok) in your browser when you accept our cookie notice. This is stored locally and not transmitted to us.

Because we do not collect, store, or process personal data on our servers, there is no personal data for us to export or delete.
